Project Title: Children, children everywhere!!! (Take 2)

Grade: Algebra 2 10th/11th grade

Name: Mary Gardner

Project Idea: The schools of Craven County are overcrowded and there are too many students in one classroom. As a member of the Board of Education in New Bern, calculate the number of students currently enrolled in Craven County schools and determine if the current number of schools/classrooms is enough to educate the students of 2026. If you feel there aren't enough schools/classrooms, calculate the cheapest option to correct the problem. Create a blueprint of your proposal to present to the Board at their next meeting with all the facts and figures.

Driving Question: Are there enough schools in Craven County to educate the students enrolled during the academic year of 2025-2026?
